TEACHING


2016                    Adjunct Professor, Digital Production: Photoshop and Digital Paint I, Brookdale Community College, NJ.

Fall                      Teaching students comprehensive foundation in Photoshop CS6 including character modeling, graphic design, storyboarding, and found   

    footage compositing.  Also teaching students a introductory-level Digital Painting course providing the theory, history, and application of       

    computers for drawing and painting techniques.

2015—16             Assistant Professor, Photography I, Photography II, Photography III, and Advanced Digital Imaging, Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA.

                            Responsible for teaching a broad range of traditional, digital, and experimental photographic and lighting methods.      

                            Managed the department's darkroom and digital lab, maintained office hours, facilitated photo equipment rental system, and participated in 

                            department and college-wide meetings and events.

Semester            College, NJ. Teaching students comprehensive foundation in After Effects CS6 including video editing, kinetic typography, animation, 

    storyboarding. Instruction encouraged experimentation.

2014                    Instructor, Studio Lighting & Still Life Photography, Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, NJ. Teaching adult students a curriculum that focuses on 

                             learning tungsten and strobe lighting techniques to photograph still life and product advertisement scenarios.

2014                    Instructor, Experimental Methods in Photography, Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, NJ.  Taught students alternative contemporary 

Semester             photographic processes using unconventional materials and techniques such as: scanograms, motion blur, time-lapse photography, and stop 

    motion animation using Adobe Bridge. In addition, students created 3D images in Photoshop, experimented with photo print on fabric, and   

    made photo-sculptures with Epson prints

2014                    Teaching Artist, Summer Kid’s Program, Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, NJ. Taught K—9 students during an eight-week summer program

2011—13            Teaching Assistantship, Introduction to Photography, Digital Photography, and Video II. University of Pennsylvania, PA. Assisted with mixing 

   B&W chemistry, checking silver recovery, and communicating darkroom chemistry conditions with faculty and staff. Taught video camera   

   mechanics and Final Cut Pro 7 workflow. Led workshops on green screen techniques, operating DSLR and analogue cameras, creating 

   workflow in Adobe Bridge and Photoshop, darkroom chemical processing and photo printing. Assisted students with file management, Epson 

   9800 printing, and film processing

2010                    Instructor, Video Editing and Digital Photography, Rutgers Quest Scholars Pre-College Summer Program, NJ. Instructed Digital Photography 

                classes for rising 8th and 9th graders during a six-week summer program. Developed various thematic lesson plans focusing on portraitures, 

                landscapes, abstraction, etc.
